PASSIVE FIRE PROTECTION & COATINGS

Intumescent Coatings
- Applied in various thicknesses to structural steel work, to generate a 2 hours SABS certified fire rating.
- All applications supported by certified Elcometer electronic measuring equipment. Accurate micron thickness tests carried out to generate a SABS, CE, BS, UL compliant certificate, necessary for building occupation, municipal and insurance requirements.
- All applications compliant to SANS 10400.
Intumastic Coatings
- Used for 2 hour rated fire seals, horizontal and vertical.
- Can also be used for cable coated firebreaks.
Cementitious Fire Seals
- Used to create a fully trafficable floor seal, 2 hours rated. Seal is also water-resistant.
- Floor seals up to 3 m x 3 m can be produced, utilizing support steel structure.
Fireproofing of Wood
- Sprayed or painted to wood, useful in old, dry, wooden roof support applications
Fire Curtains
- Static fire curtains, with a 2 hours fire rating, may be installed to closed off areas in large ceiling voids.
- Electrical drop-down curtains, 2 hours rated, fire alarm operated, available for hospitals and general large infrastructure.
Fabric Fire Protection
- Sprayed to fabric, to ensure fire protection
drone surveys to structures
- Experienced, licensed operator, with advanced equipment.
- Drone can be used to check detail on ships, process plants, towers, freeway bridge structure, rail road structure, harbor structure, etc. for accurate information and problem solving.
